Dann Jacobus, of
Warwick New York. Dan has been one of our featured
wildlife artists for many years. An avid outdoorsman,
his work is very accurate as he studies, photographs, and
observes his subjects before he paints them. Dann's
work includes all of our wildlife images, dogs, golfers,
fish and we have much more on the drawing board for the
future. Dann graduated from NY Phoenix School of
Design, worked on the Army newspaper in Okinawa, was the art
director of Children's books at Prentice-Hall publications,
and has been published in magazines such as Field and
Stream, the Conservationist, Audubon and more.
Floyd A. Broadbent,
has transferred the beauty of
his beloved birds to canvas and wood. His youthful days were
spent hunting forests and fishing the lakes and bays of his
native New England. Years of experience painting and
sculpting upland game birds, waterfowl and fish for outdoor
companies such as Abacrombie and Fitch in the middle 30’s,
Eddie Bauer in the 70’s, and many more in the interim, have
brought him National acclaim, awards and honors. Floyd has
been painting original images for Angler’s Expressions for
more than 10 years. Currently residing in Naches,
Washington, Floyd continues to paint and sculpt and has
recently celebrated his 90th birthday.
Don Mintz,
born and raised in Kansas, spent most of his childhood with
a fishing pole or shotgun in his hand. With artistic
parents, Don started painting at age 12 and sculpting at age
22. He made a living as a woodcarver attending many shows
and competitions. He has won many first place honors in
categories such as game animals, game birds, waterfowl and
human figures. Don moved to Idaho and has worked for
Angler’s Expressions since 1991. He has designed and
sculpted all of our pewter originals for hat pins, key
chains, and ornaments, carves and hand paints all of our
stoneware salt and peppers as well as our individually hand
carved and hand painted toilet seats. Don’s latest designs
are now featured on our dinnerware rims portraying a Rocky
Mountain scene, fall scene, all of our antlered designs and
much more in the future.
Janene Grende, A very
versatile artist painting for more than 30 years. Janene has
been recognized for her painted wildlife originals by Rocky
Mountain Elk Foundation and Idaho Ducks Unlimited. She was
the first woman artist of the year for Idaho Ducks
Unlimited, and has painted for Leanin Tree Cards, The
Bradford Exchange, and Wild Wings. Janene paints in gouache,
a particular watercolor pigment that is more opaque. She
also paints with silk dies on silk.
