These bowls are superior as they serve well as salad bowls or soup bowls, being large enough to hold a substantial amount of food. They are heavy enough to put piping hot chili in without having the heat wick through and burn your hands before you've had a chance to put it on the table. We love 'em. Your product sees much use in our house and they have been through the dishwasher innumerable times with no loss of quality. Thanks for making an outstanding product
